Bookmark, Share, Simple
Last week, I released my first Wordpress plugin, Bookmark, Share, Simple. It received 200 downloads in its first week, and just before writing this post, I released version 1.1.1. My plugin adds a bookmark drawn in HTML5 canvas to the top of the Wordpress site which, when clicked on, reveals a sharing box next to it.
The sharing box contains 6 icons, which are gathered from the URLs set in the plugin stylesheet. These URLs can be changed by a person with no CSS knowledge however, as there is a plugin settings page which will generate the stylesheet automatically. When clicked, the social icons bring up popups for sharing/adding a bookmark prefilled with the current page. Currently, the services supported are:

- Digg
- Pinboard
